You were never meant to be this small.
You are not too much.
You didn't feel like you belonged in the room.
You didn't lose yourself.
You edited yourself down.

Soulful Horizons. Life Expansion Coaching for women whose lives got smaller than they were built for. One-to-one coaching, workbooks and small groups, online from Wolverhampton, wherever you are. I'm Sarah Howard, and this is the front door.

Coping just fine.

Do you recognise yourself here?

She looks like she's coping just fine.
That's exactly the problem.

On paper, everything's fine. You're good at your job. The kids are sorted. Nothing is technically wrong, and you'd feel ridiculous saying otherwise out loud. So you don't.

But when your idea gets taken in a meeting, you say nothing, because speaking up feels like making a scene. You say yes before you've checked whether you meant it, and resent it the whole way through. You feel guilty when you want something for yourself. And somewhere between the school run and the emails and the knowing-what-everyone-needs, you stopped being able to answer the question what do you actually like?

You're not depressed. You're flat. You're tired in a way sleep doesn't touch. And underneath the tired, if you're honest, you're angry, about things that look far too small to be angry about.

You've spent years making yourself easy to manage. Somewhere in the middle of all of it, you disappeared.

What Life Expansion Coaching is

Nothing is wrong with you. You adapted.

For years you made yourself easier to manage, for everyone else's comfort. Every bit of it made sense at the time. Add it up over twenty years and the life you're living now is a smaller one than you were built for. That isn't a failure. It's an edit.

Life Expansion Coaching is the work of unediting. Not becoming someone new. Not a redesigned life in thirty days. It's building back the capacity to take up room: to know what you want before anyone asks, to say no without eight paragraphs of justification, to hold your position when someone pushes. The expansion happens in you first. Your life follows.

Whether you've come from a corporate career that slowly took the voice out of you, from a marriage that did, from a relationship that controlled you, or from the good-girl rules you were handed before you could read, you're in the right place. Both of those women are welcome here. You don't need a label to be one of them.

Choose what today can hold.

Everything here comes through one of two doors. You're not choosing a personality. You're choosing what you've got in you today, and most women use both, in whatever order they arrive.

The F*CK Staying Silent door
F*CK Staying Silent

The loud door.

For when you're done, you're angry, and you want to actually do something about it. This is the coaching door, and it's the one with the swearing.

Inside: one-to-one coaching (£1,800 for three months, or £350 for a single session) · The Good Girl Workbook, £26 · free workbooks · the book, when it lands.

The quiet door.

For when something's felt wrong for a long time, you've got very good at not saying so, and you need to understand it before you decide anything. Nobody here will ask you to call it by a name you're not ready for.

Four pages. No call.
Nobody phones you afterwards.

Short workbooks, free, and yours in about thirty seconds. Put your email in the box and the download lands on the page. You'll get the occasional straight-talking letter from me as well, and you can leave that any time.

Most women open The Box first. The problem was never you. It was the box you were handed, and everything you folded down to fit inside it.

Who is Sarah Howard

I know what it costs
to keep holding it together.

I came to this work the hard way. My life didn't just change — it fell apart. And what I discovered in the rebuilding was something no textbook could have given me: I walked both of these pathways myself. I did the Sacred Whispers work first. The understanding, the making-sense-of-it, the slow and quiet putting-back-together. And then I arrived at the F*CK Staying Silent stage. The what now. The choosing something more, on purpose, out loud.

Before all of this, I was an accountant. I understand the world the women I work with live in — the professional pressure, the performance, the exhausting act of being very competent while quietly falling apart. I went back to university and took a Master's in Psychology and Counselling Studies at Birmingham City University, because I wanted the academic rigour to sit properly alongside the lived experience. When I work with you, I bring both.

"I'm not here to fix you. You don't need fixing. I'm here to help you remember that you already know what you want — you've just spent a very long time being talked out of it."

The fair question

Why work with me, when there are cheaper coaches everywhere?

Because you're not buying an hour of encouragement. You're buying someone trained in the actual psychology of what's happened to you, who has lived it from both sides, and who'll tell you the truth even when it's not what sells.

I hold a Master's in Psychology and Counselling Studies. I spent ten years in corporate finance being very competent in rooms that made me smaller. My own life fell apart before I rebuilt it, and I did the quiet work before the loud work. So when you say "I don't know who I am anymore", I know what's happening, and I know what shifts it.

Here's what you leave with. Not a new life in thirty days. Tools you'll still be using in ten years. A way of reading your own patterns before they run you. Words for the guilt, so it stops deciding for you. A way of holding your position when someone pushes, and of knowing what you actually want before anyone asks. By the end of three months you don't need me, because you'll know how to coach your own life. That was the point.

What we work on

The things that have been keeping you quiet

The Good Girl Rules

Be agreeable. Don't make a fuss. Keep everyone comfortable. Say sorry first. You absorbed these before you knew they were rules. The work is naming them, understanding where they came from, and working out what to do instead of following them.

The Invisible Dynamics

The patterns at home and at work that leave you feeling small without being able to explain exactly why, the ones that have you asking "is it me?" We name those too. Usually it isn't you.

Taking Up Room

Learning to say what you actually think. Ask for what you actually need. Stop softening every opinion with an apology. This is the practical, ongoing work of becoming someone who stops disappearing.

In her words

I'm early in this. Here's what's been said so far.

I'm not going to pretend there are hundreds of these. There aren't yet. Here's what one of the women who has sat in the room said afterwards.

"The session felt natural and really relaxed, not scripted at all. Her patience and empathy stood out the most. She's a natural at this."

Work with me

Six sessions.
Three months.
Real change.

One-to-one coaching for women who are ready to stop disappearing. We find what's been keeping you quiet, and we do the work to shift it. No affirmations. No vision board. Fortnightly sessions, with me on email in between, and tools you keep when we're done.

The Six is £1,800 for the three months, and it's where most women start. A single session is £350, for one specific knot. Both can be paid in three interest-free instalments through PayPal. You'll know the prices before we ever speak, so there's nothing waiting at the end of the call to catch you out.

01
Every path starts with a free thirty-minute call. No pitch, no pressure. A conversation to see if I'm the right person to work with you.
02
If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so. And if what you need is therapy rather than coaching, I'll say that too, and point you somewhere good.
