This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Soulful Horizons uses on this website, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device on future visits and remember certain information, such as your preferences.
We also use localStorage, a similar browser-based storage technology that holds data on your device without an expiry date (unless cleared manually). Unlike cookies, localStorage data is not sent to our servers — it stays entirely on your device.
We keep our use of cookies and browser storage to the minimum necessary. Here is a complete list of everything stored in your browser when you use this site:
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, social media cookies, or analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
The sh_cookie_consent and sh_bodytalk_unlocked items are strictly necessary for the site to function as expected. Under UK GDPR and PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations), strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent. However, we still tell you about them here in the interest of transparency.
When you first visit our website, you will see a consent banner asking whether you are happy for us to use functional storage (specifically, saving your workbook responses locally on your device and loading Google Fonts). You can change your choice at any time using the buttons below:
If you reject non-essential storage, your workbook responses will not be saved between sessions, and Google Fonts will be blocked (the site will fall back to a system serif font).
You can also control cookies and local storage through your browser settings. The steps vary depending on which browser you use:
Please note that clearing browser storage will delete any workbook responses you have saved locally, and will reset your access code — you will need to re-enter it.
Because your workbook responses are stored entirely on your device, only you can delete them. To do so, clear your browser's localStorage for this site — instructions are available via the browser links above. We cannot delete this data on your behalf because we have no access to it.
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new features to the site (for example, if we introduce analytics or change how workbook data is stored). When we do, we will update the "last updated" date above.
