One of two doors at Soulful Horizons. This is the loud one. Coaching, workbooks and the book, for women who are done and ready to do something about it. If you'd rather understand it before you do anything, the quiet door is Sacred Whispers, and nobody will think less of you.
Why am I so angry all the time?
You've played the part perfectly. Corporate powerhouse by day, emotional anchor by night — the one who remembers the dentist appointments and absorbs everyone's bad moods so nobody else has to feel them. You're the sandwich generation, squeezed from both sides, and you've got so good at "fine" that you've almost forgotten it's a performance.
What did you get for it? Not appreciation. Not rest. Just an exhaustion that's stopped being tired and started being permanent.
Here's the truth you're not supposed to say out loud: you are pissed off. Not tired — angry. Angry that you handed over years of your life to buy everyone else a little more comfort, while you were told anger isn't elegant, that good girls keep the peace, that putting yourself on your own to-do list is a betrayal. So you swallowed it. And now you're scared that if you claim back even an inch of your own life, the whole thing you built comes down with it.
We call bullshit.
FUCK Staying Silent.
This isn't about burning your life to the ground. It's about stopping the slow erosion of you — the one that's been happening so quietly you almost missed it. It's about looking underneath "wife," "mother," "executive," whatever titles you're wearing today, and finding the woman who got buried under all of them.
Your anger isn't a flaw. It's a compass. It's the part of you that never stopped knowing you were worth more than being useful. And before anyone tells you it's your hormones: it might be, partly. It's also your life. Both can be true, and only one of them has a prescription.
No more guilt.
No more performing.
We're done being quiet about it. Starting now.
What we talk about here
Getting your outline back. The woman who existed before she got edited down to fit everyone else's comfort, and the tiny rebellions that add up to a whole different life. Done shrinking, not yet sure what to grow into? That's this.
Permission to say the thing. Out loud. Without the apology at the end. What softening every opinion has cost you, and what happens when you stop translating yourself into something more palatable.
The exhaustion that doesn't respond to rest. Being the unpaid project manager of everyone else's life. The rage hiding underneath the tiredness, and the "strong woman" badge that's really a licence for other people to lean.
The guilt that arrives the second you stop being convenient. The emotional Airbnb you've been running for free. Why stopping is harder than it sounds, and what it actually looks like when you do.
The back door. For the woman who just knows something is wrong and can't name it yet, and doesn't want the bigger labels. No diagnosis required to walk in here.

A memoir-meets-manifesto for women who are done performing the version of themselves everyone else found more manageable. It follows the four stages I walked myself: being held, finding my feet, finding my voice, and the roar. From surviving to unshrinking.
It's in active development. Put your name down and you'll be the first to know when it lands, with launch pricing before anyone else.
